Autodesk announced in a press briefing that the AutoCAD 2014 and AutoCAD LT 2014 for the Mac would be available today. The timing for the Mac release was set to coincide with specific Mac development cycles, and will continue in that manner in the future, which the company feels is better for the AutoCAD Mac user base.
New improvements include:

AutoCAD for Mac software — it’s AutoCAD, for the Mac, bringing robust 3D free-form design tools and powerful drafting capabilities to your platform of choice.It takes full advantage of the Mac OS X platform, with an intuitive, graphical user interface that makes it easy to bring your ideas to life. Enter the PAGESETUP command. Select your page setup and then click the gear menu and choose Edit. Click the Plot Style Table menu and choose the desired CTB file. Note: If you do not see CTB files in the Plot Style Table menu, the drawing needs to be converted from named plot styles (see Unable to use CONVERTPSTYLES in AutoCAD for Mac). From the AutoCAD for Mac menu bar, choose File 'Print.' In the Print dialog box, choose 'Edit Page Setup.' Click the small arrow next to the OK button to expand the additional settings, if they are collapsed. In the upper right, under Plot Style Table, the current plot style in use is displayed.
